Free training: This month we are running the first “Running a Kids Cooking Session” training. It will be completely free and we’d love your support to publicise. If you or anyone you know is thinking of doing cooking activities with kids- in a community centre, church, nursery- please pass on the details.
Running Kids Kitchen from Booking to Eating!
18th July 10am – 1pm
Hornbeam Centre E17
Kids Kitchen, a parent-led volunteer group has been running carer and child cookery sessions since 2011. Now we are sharing what we’ve learnt through an interactive training session; to enable others to run their own Kids Kitchen workshop in their local community.
Kids Kitchen sessions are young children and their carers cooking delicious healthy meals together. We believe that children who have contact with good food from an early age will grow up with the understanding of food necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle. It’s a great learning experience for parents too, and all enjoy the quality time together.
